Have you thought about building a Native American tee pee? Or a sweat lodge of sorts?

Or Tommy could build this...

The Pentashelter will be the next structure to facilitate communal gatherings. I have thought of doing a wet sauna down by the creek, but have not got any farther than planning. A sauna would be a fairly simple 4 sided structure, with some insulation and a old wood burning stove. The wood burning stove would have a box of rocks on the top to store heat. Simply pouring water on these rocks creates the steam. Also, being by the creek you have access to the counterpart of heat, the cold river water at a chilling 50 degrees. Pretty ideal if you ask me.

We should build a kegerator. I've always wanted to do that.

Thats definitely a possibility. The solar system we are thinking of putting in to power lights, sounds system, and remote web camera for wildlife viewing will have excess of 2200 watts a day in the summer time. Doing a quick search for 24 volt fridge, I found one that consumed less than 200 watts a day. All the other stuff in a kegerator is CO2 pressure kit to have the nice draft spout, which is very doable. I'm sure this would be a very enticing reason to be on the hill!
